I'm running 9.2.1 ( but the lowest I'd need to go is 9.1).

Checking the Sys Profiler Dictionary reveals no dictionary commands. It
appears I can create a devices and volumes report, save it as text and parse
that... but that seems a bit much... particularly for polling every 5
seconds or so on idle.

Any other ideas out there?
