If you tried it without 'file' and it doesn't work, then 'newScript' is
_not_ a "properly-formed alias", or 'theNewScript' is _not_ a loaded script.
(It's bound to be confusing when you name the script and the file virtually
the same thing, as you did.) You've made a mistake somewhere. If you can't
find it yourself, then you'd better post the relevant part of the script,
but if you've spelled a disk, folder or file name wrong, as is quite
possible, we won't be able to know that.
