Well, mySQL has its own user, and php runs at the beck and call of apache,
who is running as nobody? So they are logged in, just not as you?

Not at all in my experience (that is, quartz et al. does not crash on its

Sure. The default login is an OS-9 transparent (admin) login.

InDesign for sure, Quark I imagine. But it is never sure until it ships.
Looks like GoLive will beat Dreamweaver out the door, and the new version
supports in line php code, which makes it comparable to the much more
expensive macromedia product.
