Folder Actions Out of Memory?

  • Subject: Folder Actions Out of Memory?

I keep getting an error when running a fairly simple Folder Action. I keep
getting the little yellow notification window stating "The Folder Actions
extension ran out of memory while processing a script".

I did some research on MacScripter.net and Apple's web site and it was
suggested that I use ResEdit to increase the extensions memory allocation.
I did this and it is still not working correctly. I then increased the
memory allocation ten fold, same results.

This folder action simply tells PixelPipe to reduce all of the image files
that get dropped in it. If I drop four files, I get four of the little
yellow notifications one after the other.

I have trashed the Finder preferences, and the AppleScript preferences with
the same results. Any other suggestions?

I'm starting to get a little desperate - I need this feature as part of an
automated image processing solution. Any help or suggestions is greatly
appreciated!
