I was running 9.0 on a 8300/90. I upgraded the machine to a 7600/133,
and can run 9.1 on it; I'm sure that 9.1 can run on a 7300 though. (9.2
requries a G3 or later processor.)

I haven't heard of any applications breaking on the newer OSs.
