If you haven't recieved a reply off-list from ANYONE at Apple then I hope
you do soon.

You've more than scratched the surface, you dug your nails in and dragged
slow and hard. Well done, Michael! I couldn't agree more. You're not alone
in your thoughts and feelings as to how Applescript could become more
widely adopted and USER friendly.

I'm curious as to your thoughts on AppleScript Studio?
