I think we are having a little trouble communicating here. I
understand that scripts can be run from the individual fields. Got
it. That is what I was calling the "work-around" solution. I know,
put the scripts in the Apple scripts folder in the Palm application
and they are available for each field to run as customized solutions.

What I am asking, is, when you click on the address fields, there is
a button linked to a pull down menu in the upper right corner. That
pull down selects Palms default text processor. It even lets you
select a condition to customize your favorite word processors
template. This smells a lot like a macro to me. And,. since it is
scriptable, I was just hoping there might me a solution to change one
of it's stock choices in it's pull down. (Macwrite and Claris are a
little out of date.) So it essentially has no letter writing capacity
save for putting a script down below in the fields. And they don't
even show up unless they contain some data. Kind of an inelegant
work-around if you ask me.

So, does that help to clarify my question? Thanks.

Dave
