Presumably this link has been restored since Brennan wrote about it on
October 1st. As a newbie I've been lurking in the background for some
months, reading the list but not contributing, while I familiarized myself
with AS. Part of ththat familiarization has involved trying to get a PDF
copy of the Language Guide. IE just refused time and again over a two-month
period to download it. At last ikn desperation I tried Netscape Navigator.
Result: no problem, successful download of PDF document, all 2.6 MBs of it!
Strange that it should be the version for 1.3.7, dating back to 5/5/99. Is
there no more recent version available? (For those who like archive
material, the 1996 version is also available, at
ftp://manuals.info.apple.com/ Follow the links from there through
Apple_Support_Area/Manuals/software/)
