Deleting hidden files

Hello,
This may seem a bit simple but is there a way to make hidden files visible then delete them. I need to write a script to delete corrupted Win2000 user profiles. Pre W2k we simply used the Mac to delete 2 files. In W2k there are 2 hidden files as well and I cannot find a way to make them visible.
