What *is* an "applemod" ???

Basically, an applemod is a library or set of handlers that are made to be loaded into scripts you make. The idea is that you can share your expertise (or others can share theirs with you) by creating callable scripts (via the load script command or as Serge pointed out on the applemods list using the parent property) that other scripters can use. So in this instance, you would just load dateManip and pass the date to it and then get a list of every possible piece of date information you would need. Join the applemods mailing list if you want to do more.
