I just got a new G4 (running OS 9.2). Sometimes when I run an applescript
all the menus (and once the called script name) turns to garbage
characters.

It SEEMS to happen when an error occurs during the running of a
script/applet.

Ex:
The first time this happened, an error occurred while in the script ran
-- up came the error box with the "Edit" button -- after I clicked the
button both the menu's AND the script's name (in the finder) changed to
garbage.

Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

thanks,
Alix
