Hello Steve, what you want is

I believe this particular piece of fluff is written on the wind. Comes up regularly on mailing lists and newsgroups though.

Actually I suppose it's under 'path to' in the 'standard additions' OSAX dictionary, but not explicitly. You have to know that 'me' refers to the script object, so path to gives you the disk location of the running script.

Note, use of this construction inside Script Editor will give you the path to Script Editor, so you'll have to test from the droplet itself. Sounds like this wont be a problem for you though.
