I agree with both Michelle and Matthew on using RetroSpec, which has an
array of AppleEvent Handlers you can integrate with. I have written a far
number of backup solutions using AppleScript and dealing with Retrospec
makes your life alot easier. Dantz support has always been helpful when
called.
