Apple Script's "display dialog" is okay for simple stuff but it's really
limited - only three buttons, for example.

What I think I'd really prefer is something that would allow me to
communicate with a dialog box such as can be created in ResEdit. This would
give me total control of formatting, controls, etc. ResEdit isn't a hard
requirement, just something I know.

Please let me know if there is such a thing. Ideally it will be low cost
and royalty free for inclusion if shareware.

Applescript Studio, coming to a Mac OS X box near you soon, and for free.
