Edit the date Modified field

Hi,

I have a client whose system crashed today due to a major power outage (several Sydney blocks effected).

Unfortunately they didn't think a UPS was warranted so they were resigned to the fact that the system might be damaged.

It appears that as a result of the crash the Date Modified field is now offset by 28 years (eg a file modified toady is listed as modified on 19 October 1963)!!

The client isn't interested in restoring the data from backup and losing this morning's work.

Any thoughts on how I can reset these fields to the correct year via a preferably nested script??

Hope you can help.

Regards,

Mark
