Ah!. CarbonLib. Would CarbonLib also be the culprit for the odd behaviour I
experience, again in SE 1.6., when closing a window by cmd-w, whereas if I close
it by clicking the close box all's O.K.? (The odd behaviour in question is the
File menu flashes continuously when I close the window cmd-w. I have to quit SE
and re-launch to stop it. I haven't assigned cmd-w to anything else via One-Click
or similar).

BTW, I'm using CarbonLib 1.2.5 but I've tried 1.4 as well with the same
results...(on OS 9.1).

Thanks for the info, Jim :-)

Regards,

Phil.
