Fax forward to e-mail?

  • Subject: Fax forward to e-mail?

Greetings!

I would like to be able to forward a received fax to my e-mail program,
which would then send it out to a pre-designated e-mail address. In this
way, I could receive faxes while on the road. The attached file does not
need to be changed from its format, however, if it does change, TIFF would
be best so that I can use OCR. My fax program is FaxSTF Pro 6.0.5 and e-mail
is Entourage (Office 2001). Both are scriptable.

A feature of FaxSTF is fax forwarding, which allows for a received fax to be
forwarded to another fax number. I can use this to forward to a web-based
free fax forwarders (e.g. e-Fax), but since I live overseas, it's not a
toll-free call for me. Fax to e-mail within my own home machine would be a
much better solution.

I am not that familiar with AppleScript, though am knowledgeable about Macs.
I would be willing to pay someone a small fee to help me with this. I also
think that other FaxSTF users would want the same script.

Thank you for your help,
Mark Benton
