Yes, I'm on several Apple lists and this annoys me daily. By the way, if you
take a close look at mangled messages you'll find that it has nothing to do
with supporting MacRoman. The list server simply has a bug in which it
mangles any MIME-quoted characters. It should be leaving them alone.
