Floating window alert dialogue

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to generate one of those 'Post-It' style alerts that have appeared with OS9 using AppleScript?

I have a very simple script that is run every Wednesday using iDo Script Scheduler that just posts a dialogue to the screen reminding me to do something. the problem is that if I'm not around to see it and dismiss it, not a lot else gets done on my machine since it seems to be waiting.

I don't want to time it out since I might not see it at all. I seem to remember a way to post a similar message with Frontier, you were able to flash the application message and post a dialogue. More than likely it was a feature of Frontier and not the Finder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards Alan.
