Hmmm, I find it to be *most* stable. Be sure you are running 2.0.5.
However, you must consider these points that Scripter doesn't address:
+ scriptable
+ recordable
+ attachable
+ object explorer
As a script writer, I like scriptable and attachable programs. I can't imagine not wanting my script editor to be this sophisticated.
When AppleScript was started, the plan was to create Mr. Blobbo, a fully scriptable and recordable script editor. However, due to project constraints the script editor that shipped was code named Toy Surprise because it was so feature deprived.
I consider Script Debugger to be Mr. Blobbo incarnate.
