anyone have an idea of how to display status in a processing script.
my script is extremely busy but from all outward appearances it doesn't look
like its doing sweet *&@# all,
does anyone know a simple way to display info on the screen without needing
user interaction to clear.
something like a label on a form in vb or a status bar. but something that
hovers on the OS desktop.
is this a big ask?
p.s the event log being open isn't really an option.
