Hi Andrew,
I just had great success using MessageWindow
(
http://www.acmetech.com/freewares.html). It's a small scriptable app that
displays text in a window. It was just what I needed and nothing that I
didn't. I only ended up using two applescript commands with it. One to set
the window bounds and the other to set the message in the window (set
message of window 1 to "Hi, Andrew" & myCounterVariable & myString,
etc....)
Hope that's useful info. It was the easiest solution for my needs.
