No. The whole reason why 3rd-party osaxen exist is to fill gaps in (or
occasionally try to do better than) standard AppleScript. Akua Sweets is
(still) free, and is an indispensable aid to scripting pre-OS X. (I hope an
OS X version is forthcoming.)
