Hi folks,
As most of you realise, there are applescript dictionaries and there are applescript dictionaries. Unfortunately, those companies with lousy or patchy applescript support rarely get a kick up the a***, and those that really make the effort probably see it as thankless, so I was thinking we should run a little poll and compile a table for best and worst, then present the results to the companies involved.
Only apps which profess to support applescript, and have an aete resource should be considered. 'Hack' automation technologies and internal, non-OSA automation features should also not be considered. (i.e. don't vote for Photoshop if you mean Photoshop+Photoscripter).
When considering 'worst', it will be tricky, because so many apps have useless dictionaries, but consideration might be given to dictionaries that promise much, but deliver very little.
Anyone interested in this idea?
