Question: How do you increase adoption of AS?

Answer: Get first-time owners/users to USE it.
Not quite enough...they have to KNOW they are using it.
The "Browse the Internet" and "Mail" icons which appeared a few years ago
on the "stock" Mac OS desktop are AppleScript applications...most people
who used them didn't know that.
Many of the things Find File and, later, Sherlock, can do with found file
are done with AppleScript (or at least Apple Event Manager) (showing the
folly of some well known magazines in recommending that "if you aren't
using AppleScript, you should remove these extensions)."
