Thanks for clearing that up Chris. But I think there's something else going
wrong here. When I first started playing with the busy flag at the release
of OS 9, I remember doing tests in which an open file did not show as "busy"
even though ResEdit and other tools showed the file as being in-use. I'm
sorry that I don't remember exactly what apps I was testing with as this was
a few years ago, but I was doing a lot of work automating FileMaker Pro and
Acrobat at that time, so those were probably two of the apps.
