I'm finally making the change from Netscape Communicator 4.79 to Netscape
6.2.2. While updating some of my Applescripts I've noticed some items
missing from the Netscape 6.2.2 dictionary when I open my old scripts for
Netscape Communicator:
1. register protocol
in Netscape Communicator 4.79 becomes in Netscape 6.2.2
<<event WWW!RGPR>>
2. unregister protocol
in Netscape Communicator 4.79 becomes in Netscape 6.2.2
<<event WWW!RGP>>
3. get window info
in Netscape Communicator 4.79 becomes in Netscape 6.2.2
<<event WWW!WNFO>>
The first two are in my scripts for registering "ftp:" and "
mailto:"; so
that the desired applications are launched and used instead of using
Netscape. The third from a script I wrote to get information on open
windows.
Does anyone know how to accomplish the same things with the new Netscape?
Am I just out of luck and will have to do without these features?
