I would like to copy the text in a text box including the formatting.
copy text of (text box i) to myText
will only copy the (ASCII) text.
On the other hand (taking inspiration from Unlink Selected Boxes from
Quark 5 sample scripts) I can do:
save text of (text box 1) in filepath as "TEXT"
that will save the Xpress tags into the file filepath; one can then
reload the formatted text as in:
set story 1 of (text box 1) to alias filepath
I would rather avoid having to use temporary files to store the
formatted text, but I do not see a solution. Also, I have not checked
if this works with 4.1.
Any ideas?
