Entire contents and package crash

  • Subject: Entire contents and package crash

All,

Someone here wants a quick'n'dirty script for which "entire contents",
despite its faults, seemed entirely suitable.

But whenever I use it to scan a folder which, at some level, contains
AppleWorks.app v6.2, the Finder locks up and has to be force quit(ed). This
is under OS9.2.2, AS 1.7 (which is what the user will be on).

I'm guessing that this is because the AppleWorks *package* is behaving
almost, but not enough, like a folder.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a workround which my trip through the
old mails didn't reveal?

TIA,

Nigel
