'choose file name' - check Standard Additions. It actually lets you set the
location (through the usual locator window dialog) as well as the name.

Now then...another nasty (but probably simple to fix problem) is on writing and opening files. Most of the time the command "write" will write the file correctly. But occasionally it saves a 168 BYTE file into a 64 KILOBYTE space on disk. The ones it saves correctly only take up 4 KB on disk. When I try to open the files that take up 64 KB, my program errors, needless to say, it's frustrating. Any ideas?
