changing quark page name/number

  • Subject: changing quark page name/number

I've got a big REALbasic/AppleScript project that parses some data and then
builds pages in Quark... It's building a large book in 8-page sections, and
I'd like to set the names of the pages (as if I was accessing the Section...
dialog) so that the pages in the first Quark document are numbered 1-8, the
pages in the second document are numbered 9-16, etc.

I realize that the "name" property of the page is read-only as far as
AppleScript is concerned... Is there any other way to set this without user
intervention? Anyone know of a Scripting Addition, XTension, etc. that
would allow this? Is this property settable via raw AppleEvents?

Thanks in advance.
