Sorry Mr Tea, posting was meant to go to the list rather than to you
personally. I do dislike the Apple mailing list server's habit of
reply-to the sender rather than list.

Well, that must be me then. For servers running OS > 10, I tend to put a
script in the shutdown items folder which effectively traps the shutdown
event and converts it to a restart. Invaluable for co-located machines
when you have that brain hiccup. Actually, I use it for the servers next
door too - but that's laziness :-)
