Is there an equivalent in OS X or a work around?
Hi, Bob.
Have you looked at the free 'Youpi Key' utility? It does keyboard and
menu stuff, and can be triggered by a script. I haven't fully explored it
yet, but here's what it says at the top of the read me"
Youpi Key is an automation utility, which can run actions based on :
- a keyboard equivalent
- and/or an item of a menu
- and/or a programmed date (dayly, weekly, monthly, at a specified time)
Actions which can be executed are :
- open file
- display folder arborescence
- manipulate applications
- open internet adress
- modify finder windows
- put in clipboard
- play sound
- open system preferences
- run Unix command
- run system actions
- simulate key
- simulate keyboard
- simulate mouse
- make pause
- run script
The author's website is at <

French) and you can also find it on VersionTracker.
