Is there an AppleScriptable XSLT processor out there?
By this I don't mean anything fancy. Given a source xml document and an xslt
file, I'm looking for an app or an osax which will give me the *transformed*
xml output via an AS command.
I know Latenight's XML Tools lets you parse xml to an AS record; you can
thereon manipulate the xml contents within AS. This is nice, but it doesn't
allow use of xslt as such.
I also tried IE5's GetSource command. This will get me the source text of a
given IE window, but even when the displayed xml doc is internally linked to
an xslt file, it still returns the *original* xml source, not the transfored
xml output that is rendered in the browser.
I haven't tried Netscape 6 since it's installer stops with an error due to
our firewall.
Or do I need to learn java to do what I'm asking for? (I'm hoping this isn't
so.)
Sorry if this is common knowledge to you experts; I had no luck in the list
archives. Thank you in advance for any pointers.
