Is it possible to activate an AppleScript from a remote browser?
If you created a .acgi and uploaded it you could activate it from a browser.
But that cgi is very limited. I don't think you could have it open programs
and run complex AppleScript and move data around on the computer it resides.
Interesting question. I haven't worked much with cgi's and AppleScript but
it's an interesting topic. I'd be interested in anyone else's ideas on the
subject. I'd really like to be able to see AppleScript cgi's as powerful as
TCP/IP remote AppleScripts.
I know you could activate an AppleScript via e-mail. If you set a rule in
your mail program that said when message subject is "Run AppleScript" run
this AppleScript. But that's probably not what you're looking for.
