Mr. Tea,

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I don't see any way to run Youpi shortcuts or sets from a script. In fact, the description you gave below lists the only activation methods I've been able to find: from a key-command, a menu, or a date/time.

I really hope I'm wrong, because Youpi Keys is free and very nice for that price. It can run AppleScripts, too!!! Amazing! A free version of QuicKeys for Mac OS X. I like his interface for defining where mouse-clicks will take place. The interface could use some work, but free is free. I wrote to ask him if he could make it scriptable - that would be very helpful.

Have you looked at the free 'Youpi Key' utility? It does keyboard and
menu stuff, and can be triggered by a script. I haven't fully explored it
yet, but here's what it says at the top of the read me"

Youpi Key is an automation utility, which can run actions based on :

- a keyboard equivalent
- and/or an item of a menu
- and/or a programmed date (dayly, weekly, monthly, at a specified time)
