Hi,
I have a script (made with the help of the List):
set pURL to
{"
http://www3.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov:80/htbin-post/Entrez/query?form=6&db=n&Dopt=g&uid="}
tell application "FileMaker Pro"
copy cell "Genomic Accession #" of current record of document
"EP screen" to fred
getURL ((pURL as string) & (fred as string))
end tell
which takes the contents of a FMP cell appends it to the URL which is
then opened in my Browser of choice. I would now like to do something
similar but with just a selection of a cell's contents. Does someone
know how to copy some text and append it to a URL?
