Mario,

All of the following are for Acrobat 5.0x (full version,
not reader):

Manually:
1. you can save the entire PDF as JPG by using "Save As..."
from the File menu and then selecting JPG as the format
within the save as dialog box;
2. you can extract just the images by using File menu ->
"Export" -> "Extract Images As" -> "JPEG Files..."

(sidenote: someone needs to contact Adobe and tell them
ellipses follow command which expect further choices, so it
should be "Export..." -> "Extract Images As...", etc).

via AppleScript:
1. Use the 'conversions' AS command to export a PDF in other
file formats;
2. use the "menu item" call of Acrobat to trigger any of
the manual activities listed above.

Best Wishes,
=-= Marc Glasgow
