Just an elementary question from a newbie.

My script is a restore script launching Tex-Edit +, and Retrospect:

- Part 1: a warning 3Tex-Edit +2 text (too long for a 3display message2)
- Part 2: a restore using Retrospect (with replacing files option)

2 problems:

1- How can I do to make the script wait for the user, and carry on when the user has completed the reading of the warning text ?
I know Smile delay command, but I would prefer a pure vanilla script because this script will be used on different machines.

2- Retrospect preferences are set to shutdown at the end of every script. Is it possible to prevent it in this particular script ?
The shutdown setting is useful for other BU operations and I whish to keep it.
I have always wondered why Dantz did not allow us to set this pref. individually, for each BU script.

Thanks for you precious help.
BA
