Script Debugger 3.0 is the best script editor, and best debugger, in the
universe. Smile is an excellent script editor, and free, although its
debugging features are more cumbersome than SD's - pretty good, once you get
used to them. If you're in OS X, they're the only two available. If you're
in OS 9, they're both available there too, plus Scripter, which has
excellent debugging.
