Launch classic?

  • Subject: Launch classic?

Hi Listas,

This may be a dumb question, but I'm still in need of an answer.

Is there a way from OS X to script the launching of Classic? I realize that
you can put it in your startup items, but I've heard that this can cause
muchas problemas.

The reason I *need* to do this is that I've got a license for Retrospect
server that is not X native; the people I back up daily need to have Classic
launched automatically so that I can access their systems via Retrospect
Client; usually while they aren't around.

Is this possible? Everything I've tried has resulted in a dialog box asking
me to find "Classic".

TIA,

Holly
