Output to PDF/PostScript (I WANT REAL ANSWERS!)

  • Subject: Output to PDF/PostScript (I WANT REAL ANSWERS!)

I've seen several threads from people asking that someone provide them with an example to print to pdf or postscript, taking advantage of the fact that OS X can do this all by itself (without the help of Acrobat). Now will someone provide us with some code (err...script) that will give us an example of how to do this? I know some Apple employees have to be looking at these messages, so please provide a good answer. As a matter of fact, show me how to do it in Microsoft Word please:

tell application "Microsoft Word"
open (choose file)
--Provide scripting syntax here to Print/Output to PDF/PostScript.
quit
end tell
