Slightly OT: Learning Unix/Shell Scripting

  • Subject: Slightly OT: Learning Unix/Shell Scripting

Hi there, having just about taught myself Applescript I've upgraded to OS X
and it looks like Shell scripting/UNIX is the next logical thing to learn.

I've no idea where to start though and (apart from Applescript) have no
programming experience. Can anyone recommend me a good online tutorial
and/or book to get me started?

Cheers in advance

R.
