I hope everybody will spend a little more time working on figuring it out
before jumping over the cliff. Come on, guys, give it a chance. (Not talking
to you, Ed, but to everybody who has responded so far.)
I spent 20 minutes just now playing with it, and I got as far as adding a
group, adding a person with some properties, and adding the person to the
group, and updating the database so the group and person show up in the
Address Book.
I also succeeded in getting my own address, home and work emails, and
address out of the Address Book via AppleScript.
The latter gives me a clue about how to add address, email, etc. to a person
via AppleScript, but I don't have time to pursue it just now. I note that
these are returned as nested records, and they're listed in the dictionary
as elements, not properties. Surely that's enough of a hint for some of you
to figure it out before I do.... :-)
