You are correct. "ASM" to me meant "AppleScript Menu"...but clearly it is
something else.

Whatever it is, I have neither it nor DragThing. I also don't have a
sandbox machine on which I can play around, so my third party collection
will remain very small...or almost vanishingly small.

(I ran older Mac OS versions the same way.)
