Possibly. Or perhaps the programmer tendency to reduce the total number of
keys typed to the absolute bare minimum humanly possible. I think sometimes
it's a sort of a game we play...:)
I wouldn't have thought memory would be much of an issue; not in an example
like this anyway. I think you'd really need to ask the Appleheads
themselves though.
