But others might also want to know. For VBA, what you want is not a mailing
lists but the excellent newsgroups devoted to it. In a dedicated newsreader
(e.g. MT NewsWatcher, Thoth) or an email client that has a newsreader (e.g.
Outlook Express, Entourage) make an account for the Microsoft News Server
(server address: msnews.microsoft.com) if there isn't one there already. Get
the list of newsgroups and filter for 'vba': this will include not only
groups devoted to "pure" vb and vba, but - more usefully usually - ones
devoted to vba in Word, Excel, etc as subsets of the latter:, e.g.
microsoft.public.word.vba.general, and many more specialized groups. You can
also get to these newsgroups via the Google groups in a web browser.
Response times are faster on the Microsoft News Server, however: you'll
often get informed answers within an hour or two.
I believe that there is a heavily-used mailing list for FMP - I'm sure
someone will have answer for you there.
