Right. The Entourage script menu only sees scripts with 'osas' file type. (I
guess that's to prevent you putting in all sorts of rubbish in there,
probably applets would mess it up. Occasionally I've accidentally saved
scripts as text while working on them and they just "disappear".) So scripts
with no file type at all also won't be seen there. Apple is using the the
".scpt" extension for its own scripts as identifiers for its Scripts menu,
probably "setting an example" for everyone against the day when (?) file
types aren't used at all and extensions are all that count. Entourage script
menu will see scripts without file type in the next release, I've been told.
