I tried your approach. This don't work because it's not an embedded image.
Quark needs the potion "binary data" else it will popup an Alert.


But, here is the weird part...

I got an ibook with AS 1.7N on which the following option scripting compiles

-----
save page I EPS format Mac color include preview "true" EPS data binary EPS
OPI include images in (outFile)
-----


But on my dual G4 the same script and same AS version, it don't.


So put a bullet through my brains if I can understand this!!!
