Hello,
Suddenly whenever I try to use the Navigational Services dialog to open or
save a script file in OS 9.2.2, the Script Editor crashes the
machine with a type 11 error. To make this occur all I have to do is choose
Save or Open in the File menu and then click in the scroll bar in the list
of files. I immediately drop into Macsbug with:
illegal instr. at 3FD02940 SetCallBackUDNavigationalPanel + 0EEA4
the instruction seems to be *dc.l 0X02C289A4
Does anyone have a solution for this? Something to trash? I have
subsequently found that this occurs for all applications that use this
dialog box, not just Script Editor. Apps that use the old style open and
save dialogs work fine (e.g. SimpleText). Makes it impossible to do much
scripting!
Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Don
